Waris Hubert is a family-owned Champagne house based in Avize, a prestigious Grand Cru village in the Côte des Blancs. Stéphanie and Olivier Waris, the fourth generation, carefully cultivate their vineyards spread across top Grand Cru and Premier Cru terroirs including Avize, Cramant, Chouilly, Oger, and Grauves. Olivier combines traditional winemaking with biodynamic practices, ploughing with horses and avoiding herbicides to promote deep root growth and soil health. This hands-on, terroir-focused approach ensures each wine expresses the unique character and purity of its vineyard.
Together, Stéphanie and Olivier continue a long family tradition rooted in passion and respect for the land, passing their knowledge to the next generation who actively assist in vineyard work. Their Champagnes, such as the Albescent Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru Brut NV, Armorial Blanc de Noirs Grand Cru Brut NV, and Annexa Grand Cru Extra Brut 2016, reflect this dedication—offering elegant, refined wines that capture the essence and finesse of their exceptional terroirs.
